Who is Akhona Kom?

Akhona Kom, born 11 July 1993, in Tsakane, is a social entrepreneur and professional model, who is all about celebrating and embracing dreadlocks; promoting and selling beauty and lifestyle products on social media.

She mainly uses Facebook Business platforms to achieve her marketing objectives in the digital world.

And when she is not modeling or running her business; she is documenting and sharing the journey, lifestyle, and the culture of people growing dreads, across the world, through her online community called #LocNation.

Akhona also loves practicing her affirmations and inspiring the youth around her community to grow out there and be great.

She also loves creating new connections on social media and learning about the different cultures of the world. One last thing, Akhona loves supporting local businesses and passion projects - in and around her community – and you will probably meet her very soon.
